Email info@whatsdhype.com. Tell us what you were doing and what happened — on mobile, the device and whether you were using the app or a browser helps us reproduce it. We answer every message.
Account and sign in
Signing in sends a six-digit code to your email address; there is no password to forget. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder, then request another — codes are short-lived, so an old one will not work. Browsing whatsdhype needs no account at all; rating, reviewing, and following do.
Ratings and charts
Scores are the community's, not ours. Every rating is out of five, and how individual ratings become a song, album, or artist score — and how charts are built from them — is explained in how scores work.
Notifications
Replies, follows, and milestones are on by default and each category can be turned off individually in Settings. In the mobile apps, push notifications are separate: they are only ever sent after you grant permission, and the same per-category toggles apply. Turning everything off in Settings stops the emails and the pushes without affecting your account.
Reporting content or a person
Every rating, review, reply, post, comment, and profile can be reported from the app or the site — the report option is in the menu on the item itself. Reports reach a moderation queue that a human reviews. You can also block or mute someone, which removes them from your feed and stops them interacting with you, without reporting them.
Deleting your account
Go to Settings → Delete account. This removes or anonymizes your personal information — your email, display name, and avatar are scrubbed, your saved music and taste are deleted, and you are signed out everywhere. Anonymized records may remain where they are needed to keep charts accurate, as described in section 9 of the privacy policy. If you cannot reach Settings, email us from the address on the account and we will do it for you.
