My son played it during his set in Sgt Peppers yesterday, and when he started playing that opening bassline, it brought the house down, even a group of lads in their 20s cheered ....... Dolly really was universally loved.
Was clearly a feminist movie and Dolly's politics were left-of-center. But she conducted herself with such grace and humor that it was impossible not to like her. And the music was generally wonderful.
