Track average
raw in the best way. privilege that she feels this deep and still finds the words. grateful she keeps letting us hear it
I had such high hopes after Hit the Wall but the production is so muted and doesn't balance her vocal delivery. theres not many melodies, most songs sound like a run-on sentence. i see her vision for this but a lot of these read as demos with how lackluster it is
she went hard on the openers then the flame dipped. still love her but the writing runs shallow here, most of what lands is her voice and cadence not the lines. Minibar is painfully short, feels like a label slot so the whole thing is not all sad. skips for me: the title track, sober, broke my heart, imaginary friend, afflictions, still working through the back half
