Track average
Solid on the first few listens and the number 3 debut on the UK albums chart is real, credit where due. But the replay experience just is not there for me. Two or three standouts and the rest i do not find myself going back to.
the more i sit with it the more i think the wait hurt it more than the music did. as a body of work it is quietly very good
One of the best to drop this year for me. Some of these songs feel almost spiritual, they actually lift your spirit. It has been on repeat in my house. God bless his gift.

since this album dropped i genuinely cannot put on another nigerian artiste. e just no dey enter again
Quality was never the issue, the rollout killed the momentum. The ones who actually sat with it know what it is. A flopped rollout is not a flopped album.
if we are really comparing this year, Rema put in more work on Heis, no cap. but if love songs and feelings are your thing you will pick this every time. two different lanes, stop forcing the fight
hot take but the biggest problem is it has no direction, nothing like the title even suggests. lazy is a strong word and i'm still using it. 2/10 from me
good album. but after a wait that long i wanted to be shaken, not patted on the head. nothing here is fresh enough to be the let down people claim, or the classic the stans are forcing
People keep underselling the craftsmanship here. Strip away the streaming-bait expectations and what is left is one of the very few artists of this generation who can write pain without performing it. He is not asking you to dance, he is asking you to sit with him, and that is a harder thing to pull off than a hit.
Omah Lay being this underrated is genuinely annoying. No features, just him carrying the entire thing, and it plays like a masterclass. people will catch up in two years like they always do.
the whole thing sounds like a man asking for help and praying the beat hides it... gorgeous, but it scared me a little. clarity of mind feels less like a title and more like something he is begging for
